Clayton Hall, a junior at Gordon Lee High School, is shown wearing the Scottish attire presented to him by the Appalachian Celtic Connection organization. Hall plays the bagpipes in the school's band and is currently taking lessons from Joe Simpson of the Chattanooga Pipes and Drums pipe band. Hall hopes to attend Georgia Military College and continue his piping career. He is the son of Richard and Janie Hall of Chickamauga. The Appalachian Celtic Connection Inc., is primarily an educational organization that strives to help students in this area who are interested in learning more about the connecton between the Scots, Irish and the Appalachian people.
