In collaboration with the Catoosa County Library and Georgia Center for the Book, the book “To Dance with the White Dog" by Terry Kay, was selected as a community-wide reading project. Kay appeared at the lecture and book-signing that was held at the Colonnade Sept. 29. Approximately 50 people attended the event. Kay stated during his lecture that “To Dance with the White Dog” was his favorite of the books he has written. Kay admitted, “Because it was such a personal story, I did not have to invent much of it. I merely served as a translator. I think every writer has one story that humbles them, one story that is grander than their talent. This was it for me.”
