Ridgeland High School’s Air Force Junior ROTC Drill Team performed at their last competition of the school year recently in Harvest, Ala. The combined efforts of the team resulted in their being awarded 14 trophies. “My drill team commanders, Ashley Gregg and Brad Robertson, led the team this year to being the second most successful team in Ridgeland’s history,” said Master Sgt. Carl Gentry, Ridgeland’s instructor. “They are surpassed only by our last year’s team and that by only four trophies, finishing with a total of 65. Having the right cadet commanders was the key to their success. They worked their cadets hard all year and it paid big dividends. I can’t tell you how proud I am not only of these two commanders but every one of these cadets.”
