Mars Theatre Historic District Christmas celebration, grand opening this weekend in LaFayette

The Mars Theatre Historic District in downtown Lafayette will host a Christmas celebration on Nov. 24 at 5 p.m.

A real 25-foot Christmas tree will be placed atop the Mars Theatre and groups will perform Christmas music.

Santa and Ms. Claus will ride into town at 6 p.m., with the Christmas tree lighting at 7 p.m.

The new Chattanooga Street Tavern will celebrate its grand opening on Nov. 23., and Heirlooms: Vintage Boutique will celebrate its grand opening on Nov. 24.
