Entrance fee waived at Point Park during National Park Week

To encourage all Americans to visit their national parks, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will waive the entrance fee to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain during National Park Week, from Saturday, April 21 through Sunday, April 29.

Visitors can enjoys majestic views found in the nation’s first National Military Park. During National Park Week the park will conduct living history programs at Chickamauga Battlefield on April 21-22 and Junior Ranger Day activities on April 21 at both Chickamauga Battlefield and Point Park.

This fee waiver at Point Park will cover entrance and commercial tour fees during National Park Week. Enjoy all 397 National Parks for April 21–29. Visit nps.gov/npweek for more information. This fee free week provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable vacation.

Visitors are encouraged to take photos of themselves and their families while visiting Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park during National Park Week. Submit photographs to christopher_young@nps.gov and have them placed on Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park’s website. Before photographs will be posted, a photo release form will be emailed to complete and return.
