EDUCATION · The Walker County Board of Education invites you to name a school. Construction will soon begin on a truly new facility, for students kindergarten through eighth grade, off U.S. 27 near Rock Spring. Not replacing an older facility, this school will begin its own history starting with a new name. To enter your nomination for board consideration, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2G2TQ85 and type in a name for the school. As this is not a vote, you need not enter the same name more than once. Nominations are open through April 8.
