Corey Noelle Dempsey and Ricky Lee Orr will wed Feb. 25, 2012 at 3 p.m. at The Colonnade in Ringgold.

Parents of the bride are James and Helen Dempsey of Cohutta, Ga. She has two brothers, Ethan Dempsey of Four Seasons, Mo., and Sean Dempsey of Rock Hill, S.C.

Dempsey is the granddaughter of the late Johnnie and Joseph Dempsey of Dalton, Ga., and the late Leopold and Rosalie Grund of Glen Burnie, Maryland.

She is a graduate of Northwest Whitfield High School in Tunnel Hill. Dempsey earned an associate’s degree in middle grades education from Dalton State College and a bachelor’s degree in middle grades education from North Georgia College and State University. She holds a master’s degree in middle grades education from State University Of West Georgia

Dempsey is employed as a middle school teacher in the Whitfield County School System.

Orr is the son of the late James (Buddy) Orr Jr. of Tunnel Hill, and Sandra Orr of Ringgold. He is the grandson of the Late James (Ed) and Katherine Orr of Tunnel Hill, and Robert (Bob) and Fannie Headrick of Ringgold.

Orr is a graduate of Ringgold High School and became an EMT after studying at Chattanooga State Community College. He is currently an EMT, a volunteer with Catoosa County Fire Department, and a wrestling coach.
