Mr. And Mrs. Harold (Yuvonne) Pierce of Conyers, Ga. (formerly of Fort Oglethorpe) are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son, Bryan Eugene Pierce to Susan Marie Vanage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Janet) Vanage of Dayton, Ohio.

Bryan is the brother of D. Brent Pierce of Fort Oglethorpe and Lisa Pierce Laughon of Smith Mountain Lake, Va. He is the grandson of the late Arvil and Lillian Beasley Pierce of Fort Oglethorpe and the late W. J. (Bill) Meers and the late Alice Stanfield Meers of Rossville.

Bryan is a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga. He received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.S. in engineering from Texas Tech University. Bryan is process control engineer with Cabot Corporation in Tuscola, Ill., and resides in Champaign, Ill., where he is a member of Grace Community Church.

Susan is the sister of Charles Vanage, Krista Neiman and Thomas Vanage.

Susan received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Purdue University, a M.S. in occupational therapy from University of Minnesota, and a M.S. in human factors engineering from Wright State University. She recently completed employment as instructor and clinical coordinator for occupational therapy assistants and currently resides in Indianapolis, Ind., where she is a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

The couple plans a September wedding and will reside in Champaign, Ill.
