Walker County Retired Educatiors Association honored by Kiwanis and Key clubs

Members of the Walker County Retired Educators Association were honored Nov. 16 with a luncheon hosted by the Rossville Kiwanis Club.

Approximately 80 retired educators attended.

After a welcome by Kiwanis president Kim Gravitz and Steve Phillips as well as a meal catered by Old South Restaurant, the audience was entertained by Jim Houston.

The Key Club of Ridgeland High School served the meal.

Walker County Retired Educators Association look forward to this event every year and thank the Kiwanis and the Key clubs.

The next meeting is Dec. 7 at Chattanooga Valley Nazarene Church.

The program will be a performance by the Chattanooga Senior Neighborhood Orchestra. Performance starts at 11:15 a.m. A luncheon will follow.
